Answers to FAQ's Regarding Hollywood Dancesport

We will try to answer some of the frequently asked questions regarding the Hollywood Dancesport Championships.
1. When are the Amateur events. The American Rhythm amateur events are on Thursday day. The American Smooth amateur events are on Friday day. The International Standard and International Latin amateur events are on Saturday day except for the Open Championships for the ages A, TB, PT1, PT2, JR1, JR2 and youth. The finals of these events will be held on Saturday evening. Preliminary rounds, if needed, will run Saturday day.
2. Do you have an age category for very young children? We have added the Teddy Bear (TB) category for children ages 5-7. If you have a child that is already entered in the PT1 category and you would like to move them to the TB, please contact us.
3. Do I have to pay a late fee?. Normally we would access a late fee for entries received after our deadline, but because this is our inaugural event and people are still learning about the competition, we have decided not to charge a late fee this year. No one will be charged a late fee.
4. Should I fax in my entries or mail them? Please fax in your entries and then mail a check to us or fax a release form with your credit card information.
5. Who do I make the check out to? Red Carpet Dancers, LLC
6. Can amateurs enter single dances and championships? Yes
